Important Information About Procedures for Opening a New Account

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account or is a beneficial owner of a legal entity account (ie: corporation, limited liability company or a general partnership.)

What does this mean for you?

When you open an account we will ask for information that will allow us to identify you, such as:

• Name
• Address
• Date of birth
• A copy of your driver’s license

For business accounts, in addition to the above for all account signers, a Certification of Beneficial Owners form will need to be completed.

A minimum balance of $25 must be kept in the Choice Share account in order to maintain your membership status.
